Sacred Conversations / Divine Walks

Sacred Conversations/Divine Walks
October 10th, 2014
Berkeley, CA
led by Joellynn Monahan and Marvin K. White

a 1/2 day conversational workshop for active social justice and community leaders engaging with each other and sharing our spiritual practices so we can build resilience within ourselves and among our communities.

Sacred Conversations is not just about using spiritual practices to protect yourself from burnout.  Spiritual practices are vital for creating new options that bring us joy and strength along the journey.  Most importantly, shared spiritual practices are living food for our moral imagination as we envision a world full of justice for all.

Join this 1/2 day experience which honors the tools and technologies of justice work while revealing that the place of ritual, contemplation and renewal is the very ground for justice work.

By invitation only through the Center for Spiritual and Social Transformation: activists, community organizers, changemakers of all kinds may contact the Center for more information about participating.
